Every woman has these thoughts every month. Let’s finally talk about the subject we were taught to be quiet about. Oratorio for choir, heroine and male voice in the tradition of Greek Tragedy, discourse on the connection of women with nature, society, men and the cosmic circle.

A young woman confronts her biology, abusive partner, and patriarchal society. She realizes the endless complexity of her nature and the tragedy of discriminating world. She does it through self-compassion and empathy towards everything surrounding her.

Structural and scenic traditions of Ancient Greek tragedy.

Modern and traditional folk musical instruments.
Mix of speech, songs and hymns.
Russian avant-garde inspired stage design.
The play is a reflection on female physiology and psychology. It raises the problem of sex discrimination, and violence. It is meant to bring awareness to the complexity of the subject. It serves as a platform for dissolving stereotypes and fighting long-time stigma.
